What is People as Partners?
Self- Directed Support is a major change to the way in which services will be offered to older people in Scotland. In recognition of this the People as Partners project has been set up by Scottish Care to provide information, build capacity and offer guidance to independent providers of care and support. The project is funded by the Scottish Government.
Over the next three years the programme will support providers to become more confident in dealing with the new changes and will seek to bring together expertise to model good practice in self-directed support and personalisation.
